Responsible for software development for Garmin's Digital Switching product portfolio, EmpirBus, and overseeing the complete software delivery process. Duties include planning, resource management, hiring, salary reviews, and operational development. The development team, which has been steadily growing, now consists of 13 members divided into four specialized teams. These teams focus on embedded systems, embedded Linux, toolchain and cloud services, and automated test development.

The focus for me in this position was to lead and conduct pre-studies in various electrical areas to decide scope and start up new projects.

As a Project Manager at Volvo Penta of the Americas, I have led projects in both the Gasoline Sterndrive division and the newly established outboard segment. When Volvo Penta acquired Seven Marine, the outboard segment was revitalized, giving me the opportunity to serve as Project Manager for a groundbreaking outboard product. This role involved coordinating globally distributed teams, including the former Seven Marine team based in the United States and Volvo Penta and CPAC teams in Sweden. The outboard project entailed a comprehensive driveline development, introducing a new base engine specifically adapted for marine applications. It also included the complete development of a transmission system, an electrical steering system, a trim system, wiring harnesses, and a new electronic platform. Additionally, I have managed model-year projects for the Sterndrive application, which involved testing and implementing new electronic platforms.

Starting a new era at Volvo Penta, working as Project Manager for the first connectivity solution for Volvo Penta, the Easy Connect solution, including both hardware and an app both for iOS and Android, phones and tablets. A successful launch in the beginning of 2018.

As Acting Department Manager, I had the complete responsibility for the Vehicle Electronics Department for 7 months.

As Project Manager Vehicle Electronics, I was running projects mainly for Volvo Penta's marine segment, developing vessel functionality and hardware both for maneuvering and boat dynamics, e.g Volvo Penta Joystick for Inboard and Volvo Penta Interceptor system projects.

The System design/architecture group has the responsibility for complete system requirements, topology, functional and nonfunctional requirements, signaling, strategies, software processes and software platform for all Volvo Penta embedded systems.

As a System engineer for engine management system / electrical system, I took overall responsibility for electrical architecture on Volvo Penta engines, including electrical interface, diagnostics, software and its features, in order to support the other departments that rely on software and performance tuning.
