A short project where I was the lead for the team that developed a system that managed arrivals for goods terminals. The system had a lot of moving parts including cameras, roadblocks and gates which resulted in interesting problems to solve, as for example, how to recognize known vehicles and automatically sending/guiding these to the correct gate. I was also in charge of structuring processes for the development team, setting up test environments, pipelines and "way of working", as these were non existent when I joined the team. The product I worked with helped the emergency room staff with triaging patients and also guiding the staff how to examine the patients depending on the symptoms the patients had. During my time at Collector Bank I was part of serveral different teams. A big part of my work here was to develop new features to our payment and checkout applications. I worked as a consultant for Softhouse Gothenburg. My only assignment was at Collector Bank, as a Devops engineer. I was assigned to change their way of deploying to be a bit smoother, as everything before this was deployed manually. The system was a big monolith, consisting of everything from old web services and apis to citrix-applications and message consumers. After my work here was done, we managed to cut the deployment time from 4 hours to 10 minutes, resulting in being able to deploy more often than before, and therefore being able to deliver value to our customers more frequently. I was part of a team that developed e-commerce applications, mainly for the low cost-aviation/travel industry. My time at quicksearch started as an internship, which led to employment when the internship period ended. I was a part of a team that developed applications that collected, and analyzed different kinds of survey data, with a focus on employee surveys. Quicksearch was early with adopting CI/CD, DI and TDD (At least comparing to other companies in the area), which resulted in me partly learning the fundamentals of todays "modern" way of doing software development very early in my career, and this has definitely shaped me as a software engineer.
